International Coffee Day October 1
Today we will tell you today is national what day. October 1 is celebrated as International Coffee Day This day has an interesting peculiarity, it is mainly celebrated by Canadians, Americans (United States), Ethiopians, English and Malaysians. Briefly, the countries that share commonwealth membership. That is why you hear enough about it in France.
Some other countries also celebrate this coffee day, but on different dates. It also provides an opportunity for reflection on fair trade coffee and raising public awareness of the situation of small coffee producers.
Producing fair trade coffee means paying producers fairly so that they can live with dignity in their production. Buying a fair trade coffee is, for the end consumer, a gesture that has become quite insignificant, but it really makes a difference at the other end of the production chain. Let’s think about it before we drink our “little black”!
