Mohammad Irfan is currently the tallest cricket player in the world with a height of 7 ft. and 1 inch, making him the tallest cricket player in the history of cricket. He was born on 6th June 1982, in Punjab, and represented the international Pakistan cricket team in test ODI and T20 cricket from 2010 – 2019. Mohammad Irfan played mainly as the team’s Bowler – Left-arm fast bowling – hitting speeds of 145 km/h. Nicknamed Big Bird, he is the highest-ranking One Day International bowler according to the ICC best-ever bowling ratings and is 37th in Tests. He was the team’s right-arm fast bowler, and during his time in his career the West Indies reached unprecedented heights, not losing a Test series in 15 years! As of 2016 he is the Barbados Cricket Association president serving various duties there. At 6’9” he is the second tallest player in cricket history.

Christopher Timothy Tremlett, born on 2nd September 1981, in Southampton, England, is a former English cricketer. He mainly played as a right-arm fast-medium bowler in England’s cricket team, while also being a great right-handed batter. He was a competent batsman with seven first-class fifties under his belt. Unfortunately, his career was short-lived as he retired from cricket in 2015 due to an injury, after only playing internationally since his debut in 2005. Peter Robert George is an Australian cricketer born on 16th October 1986. He debuted against Indian National Cricket team in a Test match in 2010. Curtly Ambrose is yet another highly regarded (and tall!) West Indies players. He was born on 21st September 1963 in Swetes, Antigua and Barbuda. He is a former cricketer with 98 test matches under his belt for West Indies. With a right-arm fast bowling style he is widely regarded as one of the absolute greatest fast bowlers of all time! He took 405 test wickets at an average of 20.99. Curtly’s cricket career was highly successful where he stayed in the top of the ICC ranking for most of his career. Although being more acknowledged for his bowling, he is still considered a useful left-handed batsman. He was born on 22nd July 1981 in Saint James Parish, Barbados. Currently he is playing for the Barbados national cricket team. He is considered an amazing left-arm orthodox spinner. Steve Thomas Finn is an English right-arm fast bowler. He was born on 4th April 1989 in Watford, Hertfordshire, England. He also holds the acknowledgment of being the youngest ever person to debut in first-class cricket, at the age of 16. He also made his professional debut in 2010 against Bangladesh. He has been playing from 2010 all the way till 2024 although having shifted away from international to domestic by playing for the Sussex cricket club (squad 44).
